Consultant’s position: Curator and Administrator, Festival Accès Asie Clients: OBORO and Festival Accès Asie I served as the lead organizer of Master Classes in Media and Performing Arts, a series of 4 professional development workshops for professional artists and students in the arts specializing in cinema, television, theatre, puppetry, performing arts, visual arts, music and new media.
The purpose of the master classes was to provide professional artists and students in the arts with a forum to gain invaluable industry knowledge, develop specialized skills and network through classes given by experts in their respective artistic fields.
The workshops were instructed by world-renowned Montreal-based artists of Asian heritage: actress Mylène Dinh-Robic, filmmaker Yung Chang, musician Kid Koala and puppetry artistAnnie Rollins. Presented by Festival Accès Asiein collaboration with OBORO, the full-day intensive master classes were held in Montreal at the OBORO New Media Lab on October 1, 8, 15 and 22, 2016.
